These Terms of Service govern your use of aternit.com. Aternit is a mobile product development studio that works with teams to design, build, launch, and improve iOS, Android, and cross-platform applications.
1. Website Use
You may use this website for lawful, informational, and business-enquiry purposes. You must not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, use automated tools to extract content without permission, or submit false, unlawful, or harmful information through our forms.
2. Enquiries Do Not Create a Project Engagement
Contacting Aternit, receiving a reply, or discussing a possible project does not create a client relationship, obligation to perform work, or commitment to reserve capacity. A project begins only when both parties enter into a written agreement or statement of work that defines the scope, deliverables, timeline, fees, and other applicable terms.
3. Mobile Product Services
Depending on the project agreement, our services may include product discovery, mobile UX and UI design, iOS or Android engineering, cross-platform development, backend and third-party integrations, quality assurance, app-store release support, and ongoing maintenance. The written project agreement controls the precise scope and any service levels, milestones, or acceptance criteria.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing timely decisions, accurate materials, feedback, approvals, access to relevant accounts, and rights to any content, trademarks, data, or third-party services they ask us to use. Delays in these items may affect delivery dates and costs.
5. Changes and Acceptance
Requests that change the agreed scope, requirements, integrations, or timeline may require a written change request and revised fees or delivery dates. Deliverables will be reviewed and accepted according to the process stated in the applicable project agreement.
6. Intellectual Property
Aternit and its licensors retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, methods, frameworks, templates, and know-how. Ownership or licence rights for project deliverables are governed by the relevant project agreement and normally take effect only after full payment of the applicable fees. Website content, branding, and case studies may not be copied or reused without written permission.
7. Third-Party Platforms
Mobile products may depend on app stores, operating systems, cloud providers, analytics services, payment providers, or other third-party platforms. Their terms, policies, fees, availability, and approval decisions are outside Aternit's control. We do not guarantee that Apple, Google, or any other third party will approve, maintain, or make a service available.
8. Fees and Payment
Fees, taxes, invoicing schedules, expenses, and payment due dates are set out in the project agreement or invoice. If payment is overdue, we may pause work or withhold delivery to the extent permitted by the applicable agreement and law.
9. Confidentiality and Data
Confidentiality, security, and data-processing commitments for a client project are governed by its written agreement. Do not submit confidential product information, credentials, or personal data through the public website unless we have specifically agreed on a secure method for receiving it.
10. Disclaimers and Liability
The website is provided for general information and may be updated without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Any warranties, remedies, and limits of liability for paid work are governed by the applicable project agreement.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the website, our services, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Continuing to use the website after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
